Studio 434 Roger Duddings’s Private Collection
March 7 @ 10:30 am - 1:00 pm
£45.00On 7th March 2024 Fellowship Committee Member Sarah Sillars OBE organised a memorable visit to Studio434®, Rodger Dudding’s amazing collection of beautiful cars in North London.
Studio434 is claimed to be Europe’s largest private car collection based at two locations in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire. The collection features classic cars from the 1900s to the present day and currently totals more than 450 cars.
Fellows and their guests were welcomed by Chris Wakley on behalf of Roger Dudding, who gave his apologies for being unable to greet everyone personally.
Chris explained that Studio 434 has been put together by Rodger Dudding who has been investing in cars and motorcycles for over 50 years. Roger is a great supporter of the legendary car designer William Towns, and he now has some 25 Aston Martin Lagonda Wedge models
The collection reflects the UK and European motor industry and includes the largest collection of Clyno classic cars which, back in the 1930s, was the third largest UK motor manufacturer next to Austin and Morris.
Fellows spent the morning viewing the collection which includes some very rare models including a DeLorean, a Railton, a prototype Lotus together with a large selection of Rolls Royce, Bentley, Jensen, Jaguar, Ferrari and Aston Martin together with many more regular but very collectable models.
The collection is not open to the public and Fellows and their guests were very privileged to see so many beautiful cars, which only represented about half of Roger’s incredible collection. Maybe a visit should be arranged to see the remainder of this fantastic collection at a future date.
