Tony Jennings Classic Car Show

A wonderful day at the Fellowship’s Classic Car Show in memory of a former President, Tony Jennings. A superb collection of over 60 classic cars were on display and owners clearly enjoyed meeting up with fellow enthusiasts, as well as taking a look around the adjoining Fete’s many stalls.

My thanks to Peter Lewis-Jones, (our ever supportive President), Committee members Nigel Barfoot, and Peter Leake, along with Brian Spratt and Rod Ramsay for being there to help out setting up and ensuring cars were parked up in a semblance of order! It was also great to meet up with other Fellowship members, David Lansdowne (committee member), Geoff Milnes, Steve Harris, Bill Hall, and Mike Newman – thanks for coming guys! We all enjoyed chatting to car owners, all who have a story to tell about their beloved classic.

It was especially difficult to select the winners this year with so many exceptional classic cars on display. After some discussion the following winners were presented with their cups:

Car of the Show – 1948 Morris 8 Series E – Owner Mark Lander

Best Car 1900-1960 – 1935 Austin Light 12/4 Van – Owner Mark Bromwich

Best Car 1961- 1999 – 1972 Triumph TR6 – Owner Rick Billington

So a great day all around and we look forward to seeing everyone next year.
