London Lunch

Our annual London Lunch has become one of the FMI’s blue riband events with last year’s being a sellout. We are therefore delighted to be returning to the prestigious RAF Club and early booking via this website is recommended to avoid disappointment as numbers are limited.

Attendees will meet up in the Churchill Bar from 11:30 am then enjoy a quality three course meal in the stunning Sovereigns Room before hearing from our guest speaker Michael van der Sande. Michael is set to provide an interesting and thought-provoking presentation with insights and anecdotes from his time with Harley Davidson, Alpine, Aston Martin, Tesla (working directly with Elon Musk) and most recently heading up JLR Special Vehicle Operations. A Dutchman and a petrol head, those who follow his posts will know he has strong views and isn’t afraid to share them. We look forward to his contribution with eager anticipation.

Holding the lunch in the centre of London is always a challenge so we are delighted to announce that BMW Park Lane will be sponsoring the event and in addition to welcoming their representatives we are pleased that as a result we are able to better manage our costs and tickets will be £82.50 each. We thank BMW Park Lane for their support and for providing re-launched access to their Affinity scheme.

Formal proceedings will close around 3:00 pm following the now traditional “Heads and Tails” game, with proceeds going to BEN and a magnum of champagne for the winner. The Churchill Bar will though be open for those wishing to continue with their Fellowship compatriots and guests. Friends and partners are very welcome, but all bookings must be made by a Fellow via this website.

Now is the time, then, to organise for you and any guests to secure tickets for what is another great Fellowship get together in prospect.

Closing date for applications will be Monday November 4th and Joining Instructions will be sent to lead attendees by November 10th.
