Annual Golf Day – Woking Golf Club

There were 14 FMI golfers playing within the MTGS Members/Guest Day at the wonderful Woking Golf Club.
Contrary to the BBC forecast, after a chilly start we were blessed with glorious sunshine.

The course was as usual in great condition and a tough test of golf with the heather waiting to trap any errant golf shots. Only one player played to his handicap with Len Curran winning the Fellowship’s Percy Butler Plate with 36 points. Clive Fletcher took the runners up spot with 35 points, a good result from both golfers.

After golf we enjoyed a delicious carvery meal in the club restaurant and had the chance to enjoy the compmay of our MTGS friends
