Belvoir Castle

I’m delighted to invite you to join us for a special Fellowship visit to the magnificent Belvoir Castle on Thursday 16th July.

For over 900 years, Belvoir Castle has stood at the heart of English history, and this promises to be a truly memorable day in a stunning setting.

Located on the Leicestershire/Lincolnshire border near Grantham, the castle sits high above the Vale of Belvoir with spectacular views across the surrounding countryside. It is easily accessible from the A1, making it a straightforward journey for those travelling from across the region.

The itinerary for the day is as follows:

10:30am – Arrival at Belvoir Castle
Welcome refreshments of tea, coffee and biscuits
Late morning – Guided tour of the Castle
Lunch – Soup and sandwiches in the Aviary Tea Room
Afternoon – Free time to explore
In the afternoon, guests are welcome to enjoy the beautiful castle grounds (please note these are quite hilly), or alternatively visit the charming Belvoir Retail Village, located just opposite the main car park, which includes a selection of quaint shops and a well-stocked farm shop.

For any guests with limited mobility – you will be given access to park up on the castle terrace if required. On arrival, just speak to the team in the visitor hub at the main car park, explain you are part of the Fellowship visit and need easy access parking.
For those happy to take the walk up to the Castle, it’s a lovely route – perfect for soaking in the scenery (and perhaps a pause or two to admire the gardens along the way!).

Tickets are now on sale at £46 so please book early to avoid disappointment
